Home Remedies to Fade Age Spots

Important! Always consult your doctor before trying these or any home remedies. "Natural" does not mean it is safe for everybody.
To get rid of age spots: Apply lemon juice at least twice a day. You may also try a cream of yogurt with honey (equal parts of each). Apply once daily, let sit for half an hour and then wash.
Another good home remedy for age spots is to extract the gel from an aloe vera leaf and apply it twice a day. Also, applying whey or buttermilk has been a very common remedy through the years.

And one more natural remedy to fade age spots is castor oil. Just apply it to the affected area in the morning and at night.
To prevent age spots avoid the sun and use sunscreen.
Hydrogen peroxide: A very effective solution for age spots is hydrogen peroxide. Soak a cotton ball in hydrogen peroxide and go over your face with it before going to bed.
Apple cider vinegar: Apply a cotton swab with apple cider vinegar every day and leave for 20 minutes. Follow with a layer of plain yogurt (no flavor) for about 20 minutes. Wash.

Important: Never expose yourself to the sun after using foods containing vitamin C on the skin. A drop of this vitamin on the skin exposed to the sun, could cause an irreparable blemish.
