Home Remedies for Oily Skin


What to Do if You Have Oily Skin

Oily skin appears to be full of impurities. On the other hand, the open pores and the shine on the nose, forehead, and chin make it look very unattractive. However, you do not have to live with this problem. There are several natural remedies you could try to treat oily skin.
orangesOrange Juice: Treat oily skin from within. Drink the juice of two oranges every day before breakfast. In two weeks you will notice the difference.






Potato mask: Boil a potato and make a puree. Add two tablespoons of milk, bread crumbs, and a few lemon drops. Spread it on the face and let it work for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Rosemary mask: Grind dried rosemary leaves and mix them with a tablespoon of honey and one egg yolk. Stir until it forms a creamy paste. Apply all over the face and neck and leave for 15 or 20 minutes. Wash with hot water.
Marie Antoinette’s mask: 1/4 liter of milk, 6 ml of lemon juice, and 12 ml of cognac. Mix all ingredients and bring them to a boil, then simmer. Cool. Apply on the face and neck, let it dry, and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then with cold water.
White rum mask for oily skinCombine 1 egg yolk, 12 lemon drops, 8 drops of olive oil, and 12 drops of white rum. Apply to the face and let it work for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Witch hazel: A good astringent lotion for oily skin is witch hazel. Mix one part witch hazel with two parts rose water. Apply to your face with a cotton swab.
Sunflower oil: To 1/2 cup of boiling water, add 1/2 cup of white vinegar and one tablespoon of sunfllower oil. Mix well and let cool. Cleanse your face with the mixture.
Tomato tonic for oily skin: Peel tomatoes and remove the seeds. Squash it and add 30 grams of glycerin. Apply the same day.
Oatmeal mask: An egg white beaten until creamy, lemon juice, and oatmeal (the necessary amount to form a paste). Apply and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Milk and mint lotion: Mince a few sprigs of fresh mint and parsley. Add 1/4 liter of cold milk. Mix and let macerate for 12 hours. Strain and store in the refrigerator. Use lotion in the morning and at night
